In like January or February I got Netflix. I have been wanting to rewatch all the Buffys and Angels. Well the first disc of the first season of Buffy arrvied. I was uber excited. I watched allof them in one night. Then I misplaced it and then had to pack all my belongings to move and found it and then of course lost it again. I thought I was doomed forever or was just going to have to pay for it. Neither option seemed good. After awhile I forgot about it. But everytime I would see a Netflix commercial I would remember and think that I needed to cancel it. It had been taking out about $9 every month and I wasn’t getting anything from it. But everytime I saw the commercial my computer would be on the ground or turned off and didn’t want to mess with it.
Well, during this time I started watching Bones a lot. Kind of got obsessed. I didn’t really like it when it first came out. When I first saw the previews for it, I was not happy. I didn’t like the main girl. I didn’t think she was pretty enough or had even charisma to have the female lead. She pretty much just down right annoyed me. And I kind of thought the whole show idea was dumb and thought Angel should be in something much better. But then I thuoght hey, at least he’s getting work. I don’t know what got me to watch it for the first time. But then I was hooked. The chemistry that Booth (Angel) and Bones (the female lead) was good, and I really liked all the other characters. Its kind of dumb and not very realistic but its a fun show. And now I am use to Angel as Booth.
About a week or so ago I was talking to Alexis. I don’t know how Netflix came up but I told her about my little problem. And she told me her brillant scheme about lieing to Netflix and say that I sent it back and it must have got lost in the mail. Low and behold, it WORKED. Like two days after I did it Netflix sent me the second disc for the first season of Buffy. I was so excited I watched all four episode in one sitting. It was so weird seeing Booth as Angel. He is such a baby. And totally playing a different character. As Booth he’s a fun loving guy, who still acts childish at times but very protective of the “squints” and very passionate about his work as a FBI agent and he believes in god, and Bones doesn’t so they always clash about that. Big difference from his dark, soul tortured, vampire with a conscience thing.
I honestly can’t say who I like better. I just love Angel, err I mean Booth, I mean Angel, I mean Booth. Did you know that he got discovered walking his dog or some shit? And I think he married a porn star or stripper or something assnine like that. He’s pretty but no one ever said very smart. I’m just happy to be able to watch the Buffy episodes and when I’m done switching to the Angel ones, and continue to watch Bones on TV. I’m just glade he’s getting work.
Well Alexis, you better be happy I blogged. My computer is about to die now.

First of all, can I say that I can’t believe you threw me under the bus about the Netflix thing?! Here, for all the world to see?!?! Not cool man, not cool.
Despite that, I do know what you mean about AngBoo. On Buffy he definitely comes across as an adult. However, when you see him later in his life, you realize he was just a freaking kid. On Bones, he’s a man. I would also like to say, that I too went through the whole Bones obsession after not liking it for a long time. (But can I just say, the last season was really pretty dumb…almost stopped watching it)
Now, if I had to pick between Buffy Angel and Booth, I would pick Booth. Like you said, he is really a fun guy and that scene where booth is trapped in the trunk of the car in the desert and he goes running down the hill because he’s the only one who saw the puft of smoke, I wanted to rip his clothes off. HOWEVER, I think you left out something very important here: Angel Angel. Angel is very different on Angel then he was on Buffy. He is more manly and he has more depth, more like how he is on Bones, but I think he had even more to do on Angel. So, I pick the David that was in Angel. He’s my man. And I encourage you to start rewatching the Angels at the same time as the Buffy’s.

Its been so longed since I’ve watched Buffy and Angel. So I have finally seen the Buffy Angel. I would love to be able to watch Angel and Buffy at the same time BUT I can’t because I can only get one disc at a time. And since Buffy came first I choose Buffy. I so know what you are talking about when he went running down that hill. so hot! I haven’t been watching the seasons, just the reruns on TNT. I think when I am done with Buffy and Angel I will switch to Bones. To bad last season was stupid hopefully this season isn’t as bad.
oh and your welcome throwing you under the bus

Wow, there’s so much estrogen in the air here I can hardly breathe.
A) You girls better hope Netflix doesn’t read your blog.
B) You both need to read a book for a change. Haven’t you seen the Alec Baldwin commercial? TV Rots your brain.

A) Yes, I am sure that Netflix reads every little blog out there.
B) You know very well that we read… a LOT. But when you read you don’t get to look at people like Booth/Angel.

he’s going to say some crap about how we could use our imaginations to imagine something even better…

Yes, I went through the Bones obsession too when it was the only thing I had to watch because papa gave us the DVDs. And I didn’t like it and then I did, and then I didn’t. And I do like him on there, his jock, normal christian guy weirdness, but he is not nearly as pretty as he was on Buffy or Angel. On Buffy he’s beautiful but a baby as said, and his relationship with Buffy is weird, like they decided that they would make that relationship what every high school girl THOUGHT she wanted out of a relationship. Just silly really. That said:
I pick Angel from Angel who went to the alternate universe where he could be in the sun and see himself in mirrors Angel. (at his prettiest, while being as fun as brooding vampire with a tortured soul can be).
Oh and you big lying liars. I’m gonna tell netflix on you.
